MICHELLE CONNOLLY
Michelle is the founder of Gruvi Beatz—an initiative dedicated to promoting mental well‑being and social inclusion through the power of music. Driven by a belief in rhythm as a tool for connection, she has developed Gruvi Beatz into a welcoming platform for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
She specialises in creating accessible, non‑judgemental spaces where participants can explore creativity, emotional expression, and collective music‑making. Her workshops and community projects focus on unlocking confidence, reducing stress, and strengthening supportive relationships, particularly within communities where access to creative opportunities may be limited.

With extensive experience across both creative and community sectors, Michelle brings a unique blend of musicianship, facilitation expertise, and empathy to every session she leads.

WHAT IS A 'GRUVI BEATZ' SESSION?
Sessions are relaxed, welcoming, and fully participatory. Through listening, experimenting, and gentle improvisation, you’ll tap into your creativity in a stress‑free environment. Michelle believes that everyone has a heartbeat and walks to a rhythm, making drumming an accessible and enjoyable experience for all.
Each session offers the chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of shared music‑making—feeling the energy of the group, exploring new sounds, and enjoying the uplifting sense of connection that rhythm brings.
